We are an agency specialising in public relations and ethnic marketing targeted at the Polish community in the UK, Poland and worldwide. We have been in the market since 2006. Within those three years, we have completed over 30 PR and ethnic marketing projects tailored for the Polish community in the UK and Poland. Our client base comprises mainly British and Polish companies from the following sectors: financial, telecoms, property, media, educational, publishing and government.

:: Matylda Setlak is a public relations and marketing consultant, with 5 years' experience in PR, 4 years' experience in ethnic marketing and 5 years' in journalism. Matylda graduated from the renowned Jagiellonian University in Cracow, where she studied History, Journalism and Social Communications, specialising in PR and Advertising. She worked as a consultant on many projects such as the national minimum wage campaign run for BERR (the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform) and took part in media activities for the 2012 Olympics. Apart from public relations and marketing, she is interested in psychology. She is an avid reader. Her favourite writers include: Dostoyevsky, F. S. Fitzgerald, Kafka and Coelho. Matylda is the managing director of Setlak PR.

::Jakub Oszczepalinski is studying BA (Hons) Communication, Advertising and PR at Edinburgh Napier University. With a background in PR, journalism and market research, he brings a fresh eye to the classical approach to communication and always seeks out innovative techniques to get the message across with maximum impact. Jakub Oszczepalinski allows nothing to divert him from David Ogilvy’s dictum that ‘advertising should mainly sell, not entertain’. Outside work, Jakub is passionate about windsurfing, sailing, photography, new technologies and literature. At Setlak PR Jakub is an Account Executive.

| :: Anda MacBride is a translator, with an MA in English Literature from the Jagiellonian University and a post-grad diploma in Economics from Garnett College. As the editor of the English language catalogues of Kraków’s acclaimed Bunkier Sztuki Gallery, she specialises in translating semantically condensed texts. She has translated into Polish Chris Stewart’s best-selling ‘Driving over Lemons’. At Setlak PR, Anda is the translator and linguistic consultant. |
